The AVMF hosts a StepStone Ceremony to commenorate Veterans Day and Memorial Day. During these ceremonies family and friends who have honored their veteran with a StepStone are given an opportunity to speak briefly about the veteran’s military service.
These StepStones can be purchased on this website by completing the purchase form and making a tax-deductable donation of $100. After the cost of the brick is deducted, all proceeds go to funding the AVMF education programs.
StepStone honorees can be from any state, any service time, and any branch. They may be deceased or living or currently serving. The only requirement is that they have served our country.
The deadline for purchasing StepStones for the Veterans Day Ceremony is September 5. The deadline for purchasing StepStones for the Memorial Day Ceremony is April 1. Click here to see a list of currently installed StepStones.
