A Place to Reflect

The Alabama Veterans Memorial is a beautifully situated, 21-acre park.
Visitors will view and experience, in sequence, the following premier attractions:

The proposed Education Center will feature the wars of the 20th and 21st centuries, honoring those who came home, as well as those who lost their lives.

A park atmosphere designed for teaching and learning, reflection, and celebration of peace and democracy.

A proposed time line depicting the events in history from the year 1900 to the year 2010.

The Regiment of Columns, displaying stories of veterans and Medal of Honor recipients.

The Hall of Honor temple, where the 11,000 Alabamians who lost their lives will be forever engraved in stone.
