Boy Scout Involvement

The Boy Scouts have been a vital part of the Park since its dedication in 2001.  They have helped on work days as well as preformed duties during the events; the Eagle Scout projects have been a beneficial and permanent addition to the Park.  These projects have included signs, a Medal of Honor digital kiosk, the paver walkway down the Memorial Trail and a Boy Scout camping area.

For more information about the volunteer opportunities for the Boy Scouts, please contact Ernie Hester, the AVMF Boy Scout coordinator, at info@alabamaveterans.org or call 205-306-3064.
